How does AI categorization work?
Bookmark Weaver uses Google's Gemini AI to analyze the title, URL, and content of your bookmarks.
It then suggests the most appropriate category based on the bookmark's subject matter.
Is my data stored on your servers?
No. All your bookmark data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API.
We don't have access to your bookmarks.
How do I set up the Gemini API key?
Go to Settings → AI Configuration → Enter your Gemini API key. You can get a free API key from
Google AI Studio.
What does the duplicate finder do?
The duplicate finder scans all your bookmarks and identifies URLs that appear multiple times,
even with slightly different formats (like with or without 'www').
Can I export my bookmarks?
Yes! Go to the Export/Import option in the menu. You can export as HTML (compatible with all browsers) or JSON.
